Overview
This Privacy Policy describes how the Hellenic Banquet Center Media Uploader ("the App") handles information when you use it. The App is an internal tool for Hellenic Banquet Center employees to upload event photos and videos to a shared Google Drive folder.
Information We Access
When you sign in with Google, the App requests permission to:
- View your basic profile info — your name and email address, displayed in the app so you know which account is signed in.
- Upload files to Google Drive — using the
drive.filescope, which limits access to only files the App itself creates. The App cannot read, modify, or delete any other files in your Drive.
The App does not access your contacts, calendar, Gmail, or any other Google services.
What We Store
The App does not maintain its own database or backend server. No personal data is stored on any server operated by Hellenic Banquet Center beyond what Google Drive holds as part of normal file storage.
Your Google access token is held temporarily in your browser session and is discarded when you sign out or close the browser tab.
Uploaded Files
Photos and videos you upload are stored in a Hellenic Banquet Center Google Drive folder. Access to that folder is managed by Hellenic Banquet Center administrators through Google Drive's standard sharing controls.
Do not upload files containing sensitive personal information unrelated to event documentation.
Third-Party Services
The App uses the following Google services:
- Google Identity Services — for authentication
- Google Drive API — for file uploads
Your use of these services is also governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
Cookies & Local Storage
The App does not use cookies or local storage to track you. Google's sign-in flow may use cookies as described in Google's own privacy policy.
Changes to This Policy
If this policy changes, the effective date above will be updated. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
